Privacy Policy

SpeakingVibes is operated by Prepare For Greece Single Member P.C., a company registered in Greece ("SpeakingVibes", "we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect when you use the app, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
What we collect
- Account info: your email and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase), and any name you add to your profile.
- Learning profile: things you tell us to personalize lessons — native language, learning language, reason for learning, country, occupation, interests, and notes you add.
- Conversation content: messages you send to a teacher persona, saved conversations, saved vocabulary, and your practice stats (streaks, points, accuracy).
- Billing info: if you subscribe to Pro or buy teaching credits, Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your card details — only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.
- Usage and device info: basic analytics (pages visited, general device/browser type) via Vercel Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites, and — only if you accept cookies — Google Analytics.
How we use it
To run the app: generating a teacher persona's replies, converting text to speech, checking your sentences, tracking your progress, enforcing daily usage limits, processing payments, and responding when you contact support. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your conversations to advertise to you.
Who we share it with
To generate replies and audio, the text of your messages is sent to OpenAI and ElevenLabs, our AI and voice-generation providers. Account data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Payments are handled by Stripe. Each of these providers processes data only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security terms.
Cookies
Essential cookies always run, because the app can't work without them: one keeps you signed in, and one counts how many free preview messages you've used with a teacher before signing up is required. Cloudflare Turnstile, which stops automated sign-ups, may set one for that purpose. None of them track you across other websites.
Optional analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>, set by Google Analytics) only run if you press Accept on the cookie banner. They tell us which pages people visit and how they found us. If you decline, they are never set. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies either way.
We also keep a random ID in your browser's local storage so we can count visits to our own pages without identifying you. It stays on your device, is never shared with anyone else, and isn't used to follow you across other sites.
Your choices
You can update your profile and password from your Account page at any time. To request a copy of your data, or to delete your account and associated data, email speakingvibes2@gmail.com and we'll handle it promptly.
Children's privacy
SpeakingVibes is not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children under that age.
